Ultra Voice Changer

NOTE: When recording, try using different recording volume levels (look for the recording volume control within the app) in order to find the levels that work best for your device. The default recording level of 1 may not be optimal for your device, so you may need to play around with that setting to get good recordings..

TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLIST:
If you are unable to record audio using this app, try the following things, in order:

CHECK 1: Speak closely into the microphone.
CHECK 2: Raise the speaker volume on your phone/device.
CHECK 3: Raise the recording volume from within the app.
CHECK 4: Another audio recording app may be holding some kind of audio recording lock on your device. To verify, try temporarily uninstalling any other audio recording related apps that you may have run recently, and then see if you are then able to record successfully using Ultra Voice Changer. I am currently aware of two apps on the Market that seem to be holding recording locks in some cases: These two apps are: goodyVoiceChanger (version 0.1.0) and TalkBox (version 1.92).

CHECK 5: Also, if you have a bluetooth headset and you are not able to record audio, try turning your bluetooth headset off and see if that resolves the issue.

CHECK 6: Install the free Market app Recordoid Dictaphone Lite (by the way I have no affiliation with Recordoid). Its a great little recorder and a solid piece of engineering. See if you can record audio using this app to establish a baseline (If the digital tape counter stays stuck at 00:00:00, that means it is NOT able to record successfully). If you are NOT able to record using this app, that strongly suggests that you have a general audio recording problem. WARNING: If you email audio files using this app, keep in mind that a 1 minute audio file will be about 1.3 megabytes in size. Unless you are on an unlimited data plan with your carrier, you may want to *minimize* sending audio recordings using this app.

+ Email happy birthday wishes, or holiday greetings, to friends, using a chipmunk voice.
+ Create your own ringtone(s), using a chipmunk voice, for incoming calls or text messages.
+ Email a chipmunk voiced message to friends, just for kicks..

* Features:
+ You can save voice effects that you like, as favorites, for later playback.
+ You can also email a saved favorite to a buddy.
+ Or you can turn a saved favorite into a ringtone.
