Rally

Rally is a GPS application for use in all time trial, regulatory, TSD, historic and vintage rallies. Rally is easy to use, supporting rally itineraries of up to 6 days which are definable either on the web or by using the mobile Rally Data application.

By using GPS, Rally is able to effectively determine distances travelled and calculate current and required average speeds. By combining this with the time and distance details provided by a rally itinerary, all time, speed and distance data is presented in real time either graphically or in full text. Switching between either display type is achieved by simply rotating the screen between landscape and potrait modes.

Both the graphical and textural displays show time remaining to the Time Control (ATC), distance travelled, section average speed, required average speed and current average speed. Also displayed are the time lost/gained and the distance lost/gained. All calculations are provided relative to the official rally time which can be synchronised at the start of the section.

During each section it is possible for the distance travelled and the ATC to be reset and the display may be changed from metric (km/kph) to imperial (miles/mph) at any time and a split timer stop watch is also available for use during time trial and special stages.

While Rally uses the GPS to determine distance travelled and internet access to download itinerary files, no data connection is required to operate rally during an event.
