Phone calls made using the application are transmitted over the devices Internet connection (via either Wi-Fi or 3G), so you do not need or use minutes from a cellular voice plan to make phone calls.

With Ooma PureVoice HD technology, Ooma Mobile delivers great voice quality without using a lot of bandwidth - very important when calling over 3G. Even better, if youre calling an Ooma customer with an Ooma Telo, your call will be connected in HD to bring you the most natural and lifelike calling experience available. Youll even have access to all the contacts on your device so you wont have to look up numbers to save minutes from your cellular voice plan.

To use Ooma Mobile, follow these instructions:

1. Purchase the application from the Android Market
2. Go to https://my.ooma.com/mobile to retrieve your Ooma Mobile username and password
3. Start the application on your device and enter your Ooma Mobile username and password

Thats it! Now youre ready to make phone calls anywhere in the world. Calls to Ooma phone numbers are FREE while other U.S. numbers cost just 1.9¢ per minute.
