_FAQ_
Q: Why cant I install to SD Card?
A: Binary programs (not Java) stored on the SD Card cannot be executed. Its an Android security feature to prevent viruses from spreading by removable media, but that if I let you put this on your SD Card the Nmap program wont execute.
Q: I want to run Nmap myself from a terminal.
A: The binaries are (usually) saved in /data/data/com.wjholden.nmap/bin/. Use the -oA argument with Nmap.
Q: Isnt this a GPL violation?
A: No, the source is available.
Q: Where is the source code?
A: http://nmap.wjholden.com/src/
Q: Wait, youre not Fyodor!
A: Thats right, this is NOT an official release from http://nmap.org, this is a personal project Ive worked on for months by myself.
Q: Do I need root?
A: Absolutely not. I just installed this on my stock Droid 2 Global and it works perfectly.
