Note: Root access required. The rooting requirement is due to limitations and restrictions of the Android platform. A layer 3 VPN client like NetExtender requires root permission for certain necessary OS level operations. We hope that a future version of the Android OS will provide a flexible API to do these operations without root access, but until then, the rooting requirement will remain.

NetExtender creates a secure network connection to a SonicWALL device, allowing you to access network resources as if you were on the local network.
