• What will my kids learn?

With Kids ABC Letters, your kids will learn the letter names and will practice letter shapes, letter recognition, and finding letters in context.

• What won't my kids learn?

Kids ABC Letters will not teach your kids the phonetic sounds that the letters actually make. This is purposely so. Knowing how the letters are actually pronounced is a separate educational goal which is covered in a separate upcoming game, called Kids Phonics.

• What activities are included in this game?

1. Naming Letters. Deliberately simple, no-frills way for kids to learn what the letters look like and what they are called. Letter names are spoken as the upper and lower case letters are displayed. Kids can also tap on the letters to verify that they learned their names correctly.

2. Forming Letters. Kids get to practice remembering what the letters look like by sliding the puzzle pieces into place.

3. Recognizing Letters. This is a fun game where the kids help the Cat catch letter fish as they swim by. By the time the kids are done, they will know the letter appearance and pronunciation by heart.

4. Identifying Letters in Context. With this simply but very educational game, kids will learn to recognize letters as they appear in words. They will understand hands-on that words are made up of letters.

• Hey, how did you take all the top spots in the Education section?

Not sure. But yes, we've been Blessed to see our efforts be met with acclaim from kids who loved our games, parents who got some guilt-free rest while their kids were being both educated, quiet and happy and Google which noticed our great reviews and then featured and promoted our apps.

• But you must be doing something right?

If we had to guess, it would be these four things:

1. We make nothing but educational games for young kids.

2. Our games are laser focused. The numbers game doesn't teach letters and the letters game doesn't teach math.

3. We don't throw requirements over the fence. Our developers, educational expert and product manager work very, very closely together.

4. We listen to Einstein and strive to make our games "as simple as possible, but not simpler". Put differently, our games do not feature fun at the expense of education nor education at the expense of fun.

• Okay, I get the first three, but that last thing went over my head. Can you elaborate?

Sure. Some games are chock-full of fun effects, but are just too complicated to be educational for young kids. Other games are simple and educational, but hardly fun. Yet others are fun and educational, but the fun part of them distracts from the educational part. Our games, on the other hand, feature "educational fun". In fact, we should trademark that term. All the fun aspects of our games are the very things that make them educational.
