Hash Droid

Hash Droid is a free utility that can generate a hash from a given text or from a file stored on the device.
A hash (or checksum) is a digital fingerprint, uniquely identifying a string or a file.
In this application, the available hash functions are : MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, CRC-32 and Adler-32.
The calculated hash can be copied to the clipboard to be reused elsewhere.
There is also a comparison feature that helps to compare the calculated checksum with another given hash. It allows, for example, to ensure the file integrity is correct.
